Native Wildflower Seed Ball Workshop

  • Pine Hollow Arboretum 34 Pine Hollow Road Slingerlands, NY, 12159 United States (map)

Join us for a fun workshop for the whole family! We will be making seed balls just in time for early spring tossing! We will discuss all the interesting insects and bugs that find their way into the wildflower patches, talk about germination, flower pollination, ecosystem services, and other awesome things that happen in the natural world when we help Mother Nature by sewing seeds that make her job easier!

This will be a family friendly class, so you are welcome to register yourself and a child, or only a child! Every registration comes with a packet of native wildflower seeds that can create a 15-30 square foot wildflower patch! Come have fun! Tea, herbal tea, and coffee will be provided! We ask that you bring your own mugs, but we will have compostable cups available.

Recommended ages 4 to 104! This workshop is in partnership with Pine Hollow Arboretum!
